We have figured out exactly how to find a good breakfast; look for the place with the most pick-up trucks in the parking lot. Truck stops and “dives” seem to make some really wonderful breakfast. We have also encountered several great hotel breakfast buffets. These are on the list, if the hotel/restaurant is not a chain.
We are not experts, but we do enjoy eating, drinking, and trying new establishments. We have been collecting our top 5 lists for the last several years. These lists may change and we are always open to suggestions. However, we are here to support local Nebraska businesses, so there are three simple rules:
1- Top 5's must be located in Nebraska
2- No national chains are allowed
3- No bashing of the top 5, only suggestions for improvement
